I am a self  taught artist living and working in beautiful Norfolk and have been painting for in excess of 30 years. Having grown up with a love of animals and the countryside and with the desire to draw and paint at an early age it was easy to decide the career I wanted to follow, therefore painting wildlife and domestic animals seemed the natural choice.Wolf SongA favourite subject of mine is the hare and fortunately there is now an abundance of them to watch and photograph in the fields near to my home.

I work in soft pastel and pastel pencil and my paintings and commissioned animal portraits are in many private homes and collections throughout Britain, with clients as far afield as Japan and America.  I also sell prints and greetings cards.

I am a member of The Wildlife Art Society International and exhibit at their annual exhibition at Nature in Art, Twigworth, Gloucester. At their 2011 exhibition I was presented with The Simon Combes Award for the best African wildlife depicted in its habitat. The painting was "Time Out" - shown opposite.

I am also a member of the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society and regularly exhibit with them.

I happily accept commissions, just contact me to discuss your individual requirements and also for prices.

New for 2012 will be pastel workshops where you can learn to paint wildlife in pastel on velour. For more details please go to the "Exhibition" section of the website.
