I am a self-taught artist specialising in studies of wildlife, domestic and farm animals. Living in a Norfolk village on the edge of Thetford Forest I have had ample opportunity to observe and photograph the wildlife of the Brecks and this has been the inspiration for many of my paintings. The medium I use is pastel and to obtain the detail I require I use pastel pencils together with soft pastels. I work mainly on museum board and velour paper.
As a member of several art societies including The Wildlife Art Society International, I exhibit widely and my paintings and commissioned animal portraits are in collections around the country. Many of my originals are reproduced as prints and greetings cards.
Originals and prints can be seen at The White House Gallery, Queens Square, Attleborough and also at game and country shows throughout East Anglia. My studios are open by appointment throughout the year.
I am happy to accept commissions. |
